Where in
the World There Are No McDonald’s
As of the end of March 2013, McDonald’s (MCD) had 34,565 restaurants in 119 countries and territories. Impressive,
but that still leaves about half of the 196
independent countries in the world without a
McDonald’s. You can’t get a Big Mac in Iceland, Jamaica, or Nepal; most of
Africa and the politically unstable parts of the Middle East have yet to get a
Golden Arches.
